Alaskan Sourdough Bed & Breakfast & Wedding Chapel

I rated the professionalism as 3, not because it was bad service, but because it was ran by 2 very down-to-earth sort of people. The "wedding chapel" was unique and homey. Willie and Lovie are wonderful, sweet people and gave us a special experience to remember. Looking back, though, I think we would have chosen a different place, given a little more time and money. The ceremony room was very small, so I had to literally restrict the ceremony to family only with the exception of a handful of friends. Ouch! And I would have liked something that looked more like a ceremony building and less like someone's home. But as proof of it's specialness, a local friend of Lovie and Willie's had heard that there was going to be a wedding there on Saturday (ours :) and had given them a gorgeous arrangement of flowers to decorate the room with! So sweet!
